The aye-aye is rather unique in looks (my coloration is abstract not realistic). A prosimian primate (lemur)from Madagascar, it eats grubs and insects living under tree bark. It cocks its head to the side, Taps on the bark and listens to locate grubs wriggling about. Then t scrapes a hole in the bark -with its specially adapted long middle finger -and picks the grubs out. Rather like fishing for its food.
It is said that the people of Madagascar fear this primate as it is associated with death. Check out this link for videos and more info about this lovely lemur:-
